F.A.Q

Bubble Tea Ingredients

It mainly covers four categories and core toppings:

  • Toppings: Popping boba, Coconut jelly, Agar ball, Red bean, Sago, Taro balls;
  • Non-dairy creamer: Full-fat, low-fat, and zero trans fat series;
  • Pearl & starch-based ingredients: Tapioca starch pearls, brown sugar pearls, amber pearls;
  • Syrups: Fruit-flavored syrup, fructose, sucrose syrup, flavored syrups (caramel, matcha, strawberry, etc.);
  • Base ingredients: Tea leaves (black tea, green tea, oolong tea), milk bases (whole milk, skim milk).

They cover mainstream beverages and extended scenarios:

  • Classic bubble tea: Blending non-dairy creamer/milk base with tea leaves as the base, paired with toppings like pearls, coconut jelly, or red beans (e.g., bubble tea, red bean bubble tea);
  • Fruit tea series: Combining tea leaves with fresh fruits/fruit-flavored syrups, enhanced with toppings like agar balls or popping boba (e.g., lemon tea with agar balls, strawberry fruit tea with strawberry popping boba);
  • Specialty drinks: Using flavored syrups (e.g., caramel, matcha) to create signature drinks (e.g., caramel milk cap tea, matcha latte); sago is suitable for dessert-style beverages like mango sago pomelo;
  • Dessert extensions: Taro balls, red beans, and coconut jelly can be used directly as main ingredients in desserts (e.g., taro ball grass jelly, red bean shaved ice), while syrups add flavor when drizzled over cakes or ice cream.

Improvements in texture, stability, and store efficiency:

  • Toppings: Popping boba has uniform bursting and no breakage; coconut jelly is chewy with no hard cores; agar balls remain firm even after 8 hours of soaking without collapsing, reducing preparation waste in stores.
  • Non-dairy creamer/milk bases: Full-fat versions have rich milkiness, low-fat ones offer a light taste, and both have high compatibility with tea leaves (no astringency); zero trans fat series meet health demands, ideal for premium stores.
  • Pearls & starch-based ingredients: Tapioca pearls resist overcooking and stay chewy for up to 4 hours (no sogginess or hard cores); sago cooks thoroughly with no white centers and won’t cloud the drink.
  • Syrups: Authentic flavors (e.g., strawberry syrup replicates fresh fruit aroma), stable sweetness (fructose has consistent sweetness for easy sugar control), and no sugaring or separation.
  • Base ingredients: Tea leaves retain aroma for 8 hours (even when cold-brewed); milk bases resist separation at room temperature, lowering operational difficulty for stores.
